Dinkes Papua Improves The Health Budget for Referral Hospitals

Quoted from papua.antaranews, The Provincial Health Office of Papua in Fiscal Year 2018 increased the 30-40 percent health budget allocation to strengthen the role of regional referral hospitals in various districts.

"According to the policy of 2018 program, every referral hospitals such as Wamena, Mimika, Nabire, Biak and Merauke got increased budget for improvement of service quality of inpatients from other districts," said Papua Provincial Health Department Head Aloysius Giyai in Biak Friday before visiting Supiori District.

Papua Health Office has also provided additional specialist doctors to perform health services in every referral hospital. Aloysius hopes that with the availability of health budget and specialist doctors, even the severely ill people no longer need referrals to hospitals outside Papua.

"Through the cooperation of the Health Office, RSUD Dok II Jayapura and RSUD referral every district can improve the quality improvement of patient service in outpatient and inpatient," he said.

He said every regional referral hospitals to provide excellent service for every patient who needs health services.

"I really hope that patients who seek treatment in referral hospitals get a positive impression in the improvement of health services from patients, it is a commitment of all district general hospital management," he said.

Various regional reference hospitals in Papua Province are equipped with all standardized health care facilities and increase the needs of speal doctors to serve patients optimally.
